Refund Policy

How refunds work for VillaAudit Strategy, Dealroom access, and custom advisory engagements. Policies differ by product because delivery and work begin at different points.

VillaAudit provides buyer-side decision support — not property sales. Refunds depend on whether delivery or access has occurred and whether work has started on your engagement.

1. VillaAudit Strategy (one-time purchase)

Strategy is a personalized lifestyle and asset decision product delivered after you complete the discovery process.

Delivery occurs when your strategy document and related access (including Dealroom) are sent to your email or made available in your account.

  • Before we begin strategy work: full refund on request.
  • After work begins (discovery review, analysis, drafting, or delivery): the purchase is non-refundable.
  • Disagreement with recommendations or outcomes is not grounds for a refund — our role is independent judgment, not guaranteed results.
  • If delivery fails due to a technical issue on our side, we will fix delivery or consider a refund after investigation.

2. Dealroom access

Dealroom project listings can be browsed without payment. Rental enquiries and assistant contact are free.

Full Dealroom access — including detailed project assessments — is included as a bonus with VillaAudit Strategy. It is not sold as a standalone subscription on this site.

  • No refund applies to free browsing or rental enquiries.
  • If Strategy is refunded before work begins, included Dealroom access is not activated or is revoked.
  • Dealroom access alone cannot be purchased or refunded separately from Strategy.

3. Private Advisory & property evaluation

Advisory and buyer-side evaluation engagements are scoped individually — for example, a specific property review, construction inspection, or ongoing decision support.

  • Before we begin any evaluation work: full refund on request.
  • Once work begins (reviewing links, analysis, drafting reports, or site inspections): refunds are not available.
  • Partial completion does not entitle you to a proportional refund unless agreed in writing before work starts.

4. If we cannot complete delivery

If we are unable to complete delivery due to reasons on our side — for example, insufficient information you were asked to provide and did supply, or an internal capacity issue — you are entitled to a refund or an alternative of equal value where applicable.

If we decline an engagement because of conflicts of interest, safety concerns, misleading information, or abuse, a full refund is issued only if no work has begun.

5. Corrections (factual errors)

If you believe there is a factual mistake in a delivered strategy or report (for example, a wrong figure, date, or property detail we verified), contact us with specifics. We will review and correct confirmed factual errors where applicable.

Corrections do not change the advisory nature of our work or create grounds for a refund based on disagreement with judgment or recommendations.

6. How to request a review

Email bali@villaaudit.com with your name, purchase date, and a short description of your request. We respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Payment disputes may also be raised through your payment provider (e.g. Stripe) in line with their policies; contacting us first usually resolves issues faster.

VillaAudit Strategy is a standalone product. If you later request advisory or property evaluation, your strategy can be used as context where relevant. There is no automatic upgrade, credit, or offset between products unless agreed in writing.
